The Eastern Panhandle is the easternmost part of West Virginia that takes a dip down touching Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. It consists of 3 counties - each has its own character. Jefferson is the closest to the DC Metro area, Berkeley is in the middle, and Morgan is the furthest northwestern county and is the most rural.  With the DC/Metro area about 1-2 hour drive and the MARC train daily service from Berkeley & Jefferson, lots of people are moving to this area.  This will likely increase as more people opt to work from home.  It's a great place to live.
